Job OverviewThe company delivers high-quality ecological and environmental services across the region of Oxford, Banbury, and surrounding areas. This growing consultancy is seeking a skilled ecologist to join their dedicated team at their office in Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct protected species surveys and habitat assessments to ensure the delivery of high-quality ecological and environmental services.
- Assist in preparing tenders and fee quotations to secure new projects and grow the business.
- Produce technical reports (PEA, BNG, protected species reports) to provide accurate and reliable data to clients.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects, with potential involvement in larger schemes to develop your skills and experience.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled ecologists and environmental professionals to deliver outstanding results.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the ecology sector, with a strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation.
- A degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
- A comprehensive understanding of UK wildlife legislation and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
- A full UK driving license to enable travel to project sites.
- CIEEM membership preferred but not essential.
- A competitive salary of £32,900 per annum, depending on experience.
- 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days.
