Emissions Certification Role

We are seeking a skilled Emissions Certification Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of engine emissions certification requirements and associated legal obligations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in obtaining engine emissions certification and be able to coach different business areas on certification requirements. They will also lead the execution of engine emissions certifications from receipt of request to emissions label implementation.

The successful candidate will maintain owned emissions certificates and associated labels through the life of production. They will work with and nurture relationships with global governmental agency representatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement engine emissions certification strategies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of certification work streams.
  3. Provide coaching and guidance on certification requirements to business areas.
  4. Lead the execution of engine emissions certifications.
  5. Maintain accurate records of emissions certificates and associated labels.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in obtaining engine emissions certification.
  2. Engineering or legal education / background / experience.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse local and international teams.
  4. Confident and effective communicator.
  5. Unrestricted passport with the ability to travel internationally.
