About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler / Project Planner to join our team at MI-GSO | PCUBED. As a Project Scheduler / Project Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience of Scheduling to single or multiple projects within a portfolio.
  • Experience of using Scheduling applications such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project.
  • Ensure monthly updates of all schedules are completed.
  • Carry out the schedule control in accordance with the client process and procedures.
  • Support the Project Manager in all aspects of setting up the Project Master Schedule.
  • Initiate, maintain and follow-up the Project Master Schedule and critical path for the Project.
  • Perform technical schedule analysis (review of float, logic, etc.) for the schedule as well as updates and revisions during the life of the project.
  • Validate accuracy and completeness of all Project Controls Scheduling information.
  • Draft the Time related sections of the monthly progress report and all other local reports with the respect to schedule and progress.
  • Understand and assist with earned value / progress measurement systems, reflecting productivity trends, as necessary.
  • Assist in managing, controlling and tracking the project cashflow against the baseline budget.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and curious individual with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You will be an effective and influential communicator, an open and collaborative team-player and passionate about continuous learning. You will be able to demonstrate project management capabilities (direct or transferable) gained in industry or consulting environments.

  • Understanding and experience of project management, including at least one of either project planning, scheduling, cost control and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in Earned Value Management or estimating techniques would be an advantage, as would exposure to Primavera P6 for those with a project planning specialty.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as you will be working on client site with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to work on complex issues, and communicate solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Eagerness to further your development within a consulting environment and a consulting mind-set.
  • A relevant qualification such as from APM (PMQ, PPQ), PRINCE2 or PMP would be of benefit.
  • Good commercial acumen.
