We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 ton driver to join our team at PROMAN Recruitment. As a 7.5 ton driver, you will be responsible for delivering catering supplies to various business properties in the Manchester area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately.
  • Assist in loading assembled orders onto the vehicle, ensuring that the payload is within the limits for the vehicle and that the permissible axle weights are not exceeded.
  • Ensure duties are carried out within legal requirements, complying fully with the requirements of the company's Operator's Licence.
  • Ensure all scheduled deliveries are completed on time, in full, on a daily basis, utilizing the relevant route planning tools.
  • Deliver to customers as directed and assist with unloading and taking to the final delivery point as requested. Report any problems with delivery sites.
  • Ensure that all POD paperwork is correct and authorized.
  • Present a professional image to the customer, be pleasant and courteous at all times, and comply with company dress requirements.
  • Report any accidents immediately.

Requirements:

  • Valid 7.5 ton driver's license
  • Experience in delivering catering supplies or similar
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
