Job Title: Kitchen Porter

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter at The Address Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Hygiene: Maintain a high standard of operational hygiene in all kitchen areas, adhering to Hotel & Hygiene Regulations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean fridges, ovens, food mixers, and food stores, as well as pot wash and area surrounds, rubbish skip areas, and storage areas.
  • Personal Hygiene: Arrive for work ready to start on time, wearing full clean uniform as per hotel standard, and maintain a high level of personal hygiene throughout the duty shift.
  • Cleaning Schedules: Carry out cleaning duties as outlined in cleaning schedules and complete daily/weekly cleaning checklists for all cleaning tasks performed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Report any damaged equipment to the head chef and/or manager on duty, and ensure that equipment is stored correctly and neatly.
  • Waste Management: Empty bins when full or as requested, and wear relevant protective clothing provided when handling hazardous materials.
  • Training and Compliance: Attend training sessions/meetings as required, and comply with company policy regarding Fire, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Hygiene, and Security.

Requirements: To ensure that your areas of responsibility are maintained in a safe, hygienic, healthy, and hazard-free manner and environment.
