About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Manager to join our team at Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will play a crucial role in advising on changes to drawings, liaising with clients, and overseeing subcontractors on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the pre-construction team to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Manage design changes and communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors
  • Attend meetings with the commercial team, clients, and design consultants to ensure project success
  • Work on projects of varying value, up to 20 million or more, with a focus on regional and national sites

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience as a mechanical engineer in building services/construction
  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications
  • Driving license
