Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a welcoming secondary school in the Derby area. This long-term to permanent position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.


About the Role


The successful candidate will provide support to secondary-aged pupils, promoting engagement with learning and helping students with special educational needs. Key responsibilities include monitoring and tracking student progress, reporting back to relevant members of staff, and working collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff.


Requirements


To be considered for this role, candidates should have previous experience working with children or young people. A qualification or degree is desirable but not essential. We are looking for an individual with a passion for supporting students to reach their full potential. An Enhanced DBS and two professional references are required.
