Theatre Director

At the Creative Entrepreneurs Club (CEC), we're pushing the boundaries of hybrid theatre and virtual production. We're seeking a visionary Theatre Director to join our team and lead the delivery of Haptic Theatre R&D, a groundbreaking project in collaboration with Abertay University and XR Network+.

Haptic Theatre R&D aims to synchronize the sensations of performers in action with audience members, using TESLASUIT technology and motion capture. This innovative approach has the potential to revolutionize live theatre-making and performance.

• Collaborate with the project team and 2 young adult performers to apply the possibilities of TESLASUIT technology to a live theatre context.
• Develop and lead the creative vision for Haptic Theatre R&D, ensuring a seamless integration of technology and performance.
• Work closely with the Digital Media Producer to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

We're looking for a Theatre Director with a proven track record in digital performance, emerging technologies, and live theatre. You should have a passion for innovation and a willingness to experiment with new ideas.
