Job Title: Family Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our esteemed team at Themis Recruit. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a variety of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and cohabitation disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and cohabitation disputes.
  • Assist senior lawyers with complex cases, gaining exposure to high-level family law practice.
  • Engage in business development activities to grow the client base, including networking, attending events, and fostering relationships with potential clients and referrers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring the highest level of client care and service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Family Team and other departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 25 years PQE in family law.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing a variety of family law cases.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to business development with a passion for building professional relationships.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Local candidates based in or near Maidenhead, Newbury, or Swindon.
  • Proven track record in successful business development initiatives.
  • Experience in handling high-net-worth client matters would be advantageous.
