The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities, carrying out routine maintenance tasks and addressing any equipment issues that arise.

  • Salary: Up to £46,800 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about precision engineering and food manufacturing. If you have experience in FMCG operations and are able to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team, we would like to hear from you.

About the Role

In this role, you will be expected to:

  1. Carry out daily reporting of breakdowns vs PPM activities
  2. Prioritise repair work
  3. Plan and monitor machine performance
  4. Work with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability
  5. Support external contractors
  6. Provide technical support for production when required
  7. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, adopting a clean-as-you-go policy
  8. Complete paperwork and works sign off to the highest standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety, and safe panel entry
  • Experience in FMCG operations
  • PC literate (able to use computer-based maintenance systems)
  • Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them, as well as complete machine size change procedures and their adjustments
