Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our Design and Business Services team based in Speke, Liverpool. The successful candidate will work on a range of projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and minor works, and will be responsible for designing specifications for air source, heat pumps, water/ventilation systems, and other mechanical building services.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and developing mechanical building services engineering solutions for major new builds, refurbishments, and minor works.
- Providing technical advice to internal and external stakeholders on industry standards, building regulations, health and safety, and CDM regulations.
- Working with the design team to develop coordinated solutions for mechanical building services engineering.
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Experience in designing to DFE specifications.
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven ability to work within budget and to tight timescales.
- Technical competence to develop mechanical building services engineering design solutions.
- Demonstrable understanding of current industry standards, building regulations, health and safety, and CDM regulations.
- Proven experience with the use of industry-standard design software, including Cymap, NBS, AutoCAD, and Revit M.
