Job Description

Individual Giving Fundraiser

Nightingale House Hospice

£27,000 per annum

Permanent, Full-time 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a talented individual with excellent written skills, proven customer service experience, strong communication skills and a passion to build upon the valued relationships we have with our individual supporters through on-off donations, regular giving, and direct mail.

We will be looking for someone who can work closely with our team to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, targeting high-value donors and building strong relationships with our existing supporters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fundraising principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-value donors
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement direct mail campaigns
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising activities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fundraising or a related field
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles
