Service Advisor Position Overview

Agricultural Service Advisor required for a leading agricultural machinery company. Our client specializes in providing top-notch service and support to their customers, and we are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join their team in Winchester.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication, either in person or over the phone.
  • Produce accurate job cards and update customer and machine records in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and complete invoices, advising customers on estimated costs and timescales for repairs and services.
  • Liaise with technicians to ensure parts are ordered and available, and communicate any time restrictions to customers.
  • Schedule breakdowns, repairs, and services with customers, and follow up on their service satisfaction.
  • Answer telephone service enquiries, taking action on customer requirements or providing advice as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an agricultural machinery or automotive aftersales environment is essential.
  • Excellent customer communication skills and a professional telephone manner are required.
  • Must be computer literate and confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and office software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Ibcos Gold system is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Remuneration:
  • Salary: £13.50- £14.50 an hour
  • Working Hours: 8:00am to 5pm Monday to Friday in the winter and 8am- 6pm in the summer
