We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of high-quality software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and lead the development of medium to large-scale software applications using LabVIEW for integration into electromechanical ultrasonic measurement and test systems.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior software engineers to enhance their proficiency in advanced LabVIEW skills.
  • Capture and refine complex software requirements for client-facing projects, including UMS and UMSI.
  • Provide technical product support to clients and collaborate with internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical software documentation, including user guides and design documents.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Have experience designing applications involving hardware integration in LabVIEW.
  • Have experience working within a scrum framework as part of an agile implementation.
  • Have experience working with source code control, specifically Git.
  • possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
