Assembly Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Assembly Technician to join our team on an initial 18 Month FTC. This exciting opportunity is based at our state-of-the-art facility in Ampthill, Bedfordshire and benefits from a 4-day working week.

As an Assembly Technologist, you will work to strict specifications, procedures, schematics and engineering drawings on projects critical to the MOD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician / Aircraft Assembly Technician, Mechanical Fitter or similar role.
• Ability to complete set-ups and perform quality and performance testing.
• Ability to work from written instructions with limited supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment with high accuracy.
• Ability to liaise with the test support, engineering and Quality functions.
