About the Role

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for nurses to create their own bespoke rotational post within Medicine at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. This role allows you to work as part of a team to provide an effective, safe environment of care for individual patients, their relatives, and carers.

Main Responsibilities

The post-holder will be responsible for providing effective, safe, evidence-based patient care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Conduct. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised evidence-based patient care, as well as actively participating in promotion of education for patients, their relatives, and colleagues.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have NMC registration (or be due to qualify soon) and excellent communication skills. A willingness to learn and relevant Continuous Professional Development are also desirable. We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration, and we are proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) and a Veteran Aware Trust.
