Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are excited to partner with a leading engineering company to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing design team. Our client is a renowned organization in the industry, and this role presents a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge design solutions for new concepts and customization of existing products.
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors to support projects and ensure timely delivery.
  • Support prototyping for new projects, considering factors such as cost, safety, and time constraints.
  • Develop relevant documentation, including Test Plans and Reports for electrical testing of seats.
  • Provide end-to-end support on an electrical basis throughout the lifecycle of projects.
  • Support the engineering team to achieve key milestone dates and work with internal stakeholders to resolve build and test issues.
  • Contribute to change management through research, concepts, design reviews, trade studies, impact analysis, and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant degree or apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or a minimum of 2 years working in an engineering environment.
  • Previous experience with design software packages such as AutoCad, Pro E, Solidworks, Eplan, etc.
  • Proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access).
