Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher at a SEMH Secondary School

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our team at a well-established and highly regarded SEMH Secondary School in Salford.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to small groups of students with SEMH needs, catering to their individual requirements.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and emotional well-being, promoting academic growth and personal development.
  • Collaborate with the school's SEN team to develop EHCPs and track students' progress, ensuring they receive tailored support.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, building strong relationships to facilitate their social and emotional growth.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to support students' emotional regulation and positive social interactions.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  1. Teacher Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a passion for working with students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
  2. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students, ensuring seamless communication and a supportive environment.
  3. Salary and Benefits: Permanent, full-time role with an ASAP start, offering a daily rate pro-rata from M1-UPS3 pay scale (£28,000 – £43,685), including access to comprehensive support and mentoring programs, ongoing professional development opportunities, and a supportive working environment.
