The Role

This role is responsible for improving efficiency and increasing asset utilization within the GeoMarket or location.

The Maintenance Engineer Trainee improves the reliability of Product Line's equipment assets within the GeoMarket or location, reducing the cost of service delivery (CoSD) for the GeoMarket or location.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a culture of continuous improvement, implementing initiatives and plans to enhance asset utilization, reliability, and CoSD.
  2. Drive improvement efforts to reduce asset turnaround time through streamlining maintenance, minimizing downtime, and optimizing workflow.
  3. Identify opportunities and develop business cases for projects related to rework and reuse of parts, service level kits, and equipment design enhancements.
  4. Maintain data quality and completeness within the CMMS to inform CoSD and reliability analysis.
  5. Ensure project adherence to quality, reliability, and CoSD standards.
  6. Participate in failure investigations as assigned by the Reliability and CoSD or Maintenance Manager.
  7. Participate in periodic technical audits and CAT compliance assessments.
  8. Close maintenance-related remedial action plan issues.
Requirements

BS or MSc: Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering of a 2:2 standard or above.

A strong desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business on high-value, technically complex products/projects.

A right to work in the UK.

Desired Skills

Experience or knowledge in Maintenance processes and workflows (Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma).
