About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Biocon Biologics as a Senior Demand Planning and Supply Chain Manager, where you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by optimizing demand planning and order fulfillment processes.

As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand plans, collaborating with sales and marketing teams for demand forecasting, and utilizing demand planning software to generate forecasts and monitor accuracy.

You will also be responsible for identifying demand patterns, seasonality, and other factors impacting demand variability, providing input for production and procurement plans based on demand forecasts, and coordinating with production, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

In addition, you will monitor order status and resolve any issues or discrepancies, communicate order updates, delays, or changes to customers and internal stakeholders, and collaborate with the global logistics team to optimize transportation and delivery processes.

Furthermore, you will track order fulfillment metrics and identify areas for improvement, monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability at 3PLs while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory, and analyze demand patterns and collaborate with the global planning team to determine inventory replenishment requirements.

You will also be responsible for managing 3PL relationships within the respective cluster, managing logistics arrangements to and from CMOs within the regions, driving new contract sign-offs and renewals with 3PL and other service providers, tracking, reviewing, and managing key metrics for 3PL logistics & distribution, and managing escalations from 3PLs related to supply chain elements.

A successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, proven experience in demand planning, order management, or supply chain operations, proficiency in using demand planning software/tools and ERP systems, strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions, excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand plans
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams for demand forecasting

What We Offer:
