Machinist Job Description

At Morson Talent, we are partnering with a leading client in the Bristol area to recruit a skilled Machinist. The successful candidate will work a 3 on 4 off nights schedule, with every other Saturday off. The rotation will last for 17 weeks, followed by a 17-week period working 7pm-7am, with a half-hour paid lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure parts are produced to the required specification.
2. Use calibrated equipment to check parts and ensure they meet the required specification.
3. Operate machinery to manufacture parts to defined high tolerances.
4. Move components to ensure the effective flow of production within the cell.
5. Deburr parts for safe handling.

Requirements:
- Ability to work to engineering drawings.
- Experience with machining and manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
