Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at ACS Business Performance Ltd. As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and delivering innovative new products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Concept Development: Utilize your creativity and technical expertise to develop ideas and prototypes, exploring the feasibility of designs through suitable prototyping techniques.
  • Product Design: Leverage our company's CAD system to create product designs, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Product Approval: Develop a qualification plan and execute the necessary product testing to meet legislative requirements.
  • Product Testing: Organize, manage, and conduct testing of new and current products, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
  • Product Knowledge and Support: Provide expert support to customers and colleagues, proactively developing product, component, and system knowledge.
Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A formal engineering qualification, such as an HNC, HND, or Degree, or equivalent experience and evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Mechanical or Electrical qualifications are highly desirable.
  • 3D CAD experience, particularly in sheet metal, is essential.
  • Mechanical and electrical dexterity is crucial for assembling mechanical and electrical components.
  • Electrical circuit design and knowledge of electrical components are advantageous.
  • Gas system design and knowledge of gas components are advantageous.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills are essential to maximize your contribution.
