Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced paediatrician to join our community healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for assessing and managing children with developmental delay and disability within the Violet pathway.

They will also work within the Indigo MDT Diagnostics service with children who present with a range of neurodiversity presentations.

Key duties include contributing to holistic multidisciplinary and multiagency management plans, providing medical advice as part of the EHC assessment process, and working with clinical colleagues, medical secretaries, administrators, and managers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within community paediatrics and experience of supervising and supporting less experienced staff.

They will also have excellent decision-making and diagnostic skills, with the ability to assess children when there are child protection concerns.
