As a Biotechnology Specialist for Aseptic Filling Operations, you will play a pivotal role in the production and aseptic fill and finish of vectors for our clients and partners, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that all work within the manufacturing facility is conducted in compliance with the facility's GMP procedures.
  • Providing routine manufacture of vector products.
  • Executing production activities and requirements in collaboration with other departments to achieve the production schedule with minimal disruption to other activities within the facility.
  • Assisting with Fill/Finish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch documentation.
  • Performing core activities such as environmental monitoring, facility cleaning, and clean transfer of materials in and out of the facility without supervision after training has been provided.
  • Being accountable as part of a team of biotechnologists working on a shift pattern to successfully fill, inspect, label, and pack Vector Product.
  • Completing Batch Manufacturing Records in a timely fashion throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Investigating quality incidents, deviations, and improving procedures.

We are seeking an individual with:

  • BSc Life Sciences or equivalent qualification or prior experience working within a biological or chemical GMP manufacturing environment.
  • A basic understanding of aseptic fill and finish operations.
  • An understanding of GMP principles.
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and team skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and computer literacy.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns inclusive of weekends.
