**School Bus Driver Part-Time Position**

About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to fill our part-time minibus driver role. As a key member of our school's transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school on designated bus routes in the Gerrards Cross area.

This is a part-time position with working hours between 7:00 am and 8:45 am, and 3:45 pm and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only (36 weeks). Additional hours may be required, which would be paid as overtime. Consideration will be given to split shifts.

Main Duties:

  • Drive school vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain the safety, comfort, and welfare of students on board.
  • Perform daily and weekly vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or accidents.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out, ensuring they remain clean and roadworthy before and after use.
  • Refuel vehicles as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of vehicle usage and student attendance.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive school image by adhering to a professional dress code and keeping work attire clean and tidy.
  • Work within health and safety guidelines and other issued regulations.
  • Support the Headmistress in undertaking associated duties.
  • Plan alternative routes when necessary and inform parents of any changes.
