Early Years Nursery Supervisor

Are you a motivated and experienced Early Years professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Trainee Manager to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries.

This role is designed for individuals who aspire to develop management skills within a childcare setting. As a Nursery Trainee Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing daily nursery activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to train, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare.
• Monitor and support the developmental progress of children, implementing appropriate educational activities and assessments.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, addressing concerns and promoting nursery events and initiatives.
• Help manage administrative tasks, including attendance records, incident reports, and budgeting.
• Assist in the implementation of nursery policies and procedures, ensuring adherence by staff and parents.
• Promote a safe and hygienic environment, conducting regular safety checks and maintaining equipment and facilities.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team, contributing ideas to enhance the overall quality of care and education.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required.
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
