Mental Health Speech and Language Therapist Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Speech and Language Therapist Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to three hospitals focusing on active rehabilitation and recovery for those with mental illnesses and personality disorders.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and co-ordinating the implementation of individual treatment plans for speech and language therapy services.
- Receiving and responding promptly to referrals, undertaking assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records, detailing each patient's rehabilitation/progression.
- Ensuring the effective and efficient management of oneself.
- Developing close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team.
- Complying with statutory regulations and quality standards.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits.
