About the Role

Trial Balance is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier - Accounting Expert to manage the general accounting lifecycle, work closely with partners and clients, and administer online banking transactions, daily reconciliations, and statutory reporting.

Main Duties
  1. Manage multiple online banking transactions, ensuring accurate recording and documentation.
  2. Conduct daily reconciliations on multiple accounts, including client accounts.
  3. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including card payments from customers.
  4. Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes.
  5. Oversee general accounting functions, including sales and purchase ledger, credit control, and monthly management accounts.
  6. Prepare statutory reports, including VAT, corporate tax returns, and payroll data.
  7. Present financial information to the senior management team.
  8. Collaborate with chartered accountants to report year-end accounts.
Essential Skills
  • Strong ability to learn new skills and financial reporting standards.
  • Good IT skills, especially in MS Excel and digital accounting platforms.
  • Partially qualified AAT/ILFM or equivalent vocational experience.

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £38,000 per annum.
