Broadband Installation Engineer
Airband is seeking a skilled Broadband Installation Engineer to join our team. As a Broadband Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fibre and wireless broadband services for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fibre and wireless services from Airband's main network to customers' premises, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to safety standards.
- Set up and configure routers, modems, and other networking hardware and software to provide seamless full fibre and wireless connectivity.
- Perform thorough testing services to confirm functionality and signal strength.
- Deliver all installations in a professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness.
- Maintain own stock levels and vehicle cleanliness.
- Complete fibre and wireless install surveys using IT equipment provided.
- Use Fibre Cloud, Weezie, and third-party network architecture software to provide detailed install plans.
- Submit defected infrastructure using provided software/apps.
- Use business systems including PIA, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, PeopleHR, Health & Safety Apps, SICON.
- Use a wide range of hand and power tools to aid in the installation of customer fibre and wireless services.
- Use a hoist to survey or install when needed.
- Out of Hours (OOH) on-call work may be required on a rota basis.
- Liaise with third parties including landowners, utilities, build contractors, landlords, and customers.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background in engineering and telecommunications.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Natural problem solver, adaptable, flexible, and capable of managing time effectively.
- Proactive approach to learning and collaboration.

- Competitive salary £28,000 to £33,000 (depending on experience) + discretionary annual bonus + use of company vehicle.
