About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Conduct Attorney to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Legal Department, you will play a vital role in shaping our compliance programs and ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory requirements.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have significant experience in corporate law, with a focus on investigations and compliance. They will be responsible for monitoring, supervising, and conducting internal investigations, as well as providing counsel on anti-corruption and bribery matters. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role, as they will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth while maintaining a culture of integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal investigations, identifying and mitigating potential risks. • Develop and implement effective compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. • Provide expert counsel on anti-corruption and bribery matters, leveraging expertise in corporate investigations and compliance programs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth while maintaining a culture of integrity.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in corporate law, including 3+ years in investigations or compliance roles. • Qualified lawyer with bar membership in good standing. • Excellent English skills, including document drafting and interviewing abilities. • Hands-on project management experience, with ability to manage multiple mission-critical projects.

Benefits and Compensation

Amazon offers a highly competitive salary range of $160,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience and location. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as generous paid time off and retirement savings options.
