Ultrasound Specialist

Job Summary
Somerset Early Scans Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Sonographer/Nurse to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. As an essential member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for conducting gynaecology and prenatal scans using our state-of-the-art Canon Xario equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting a range of gynaecology and prenatal scans with high-quality ultrasound images and videos.
• Producing accurate records using our electronic cloud-based notes software and making referrals to the NHS when necessary.
• Collaborating with an assistant and working independently to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:
An experienced Sonographer with expert knowledge of O&G Ultrasound practices, registered with HCPC, SoR, NMC, or GMC. A minimum of 2 years' experience as an NHS Sonographer is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per year (pro rata) depending on hours worked and ability to work independently, plus additional benefits including company pension, flexitime, and full professional medical malpractice insurance.
