About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Healthcare. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in our medium secure women's unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and expertise to the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in on-call rota and provide emergency medical care as needed
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
  • CCT or equivalent in Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability, or General Psychiatry
  • Experience working with women in a secure service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
