About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team at an Alternative Provision Secondary School in North West London. As a passionate advocate for inclusive education, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students aged 11-16 with significant barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement therapeutic teaching approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Teach KS3 and KS4 GCSE Science, utilizing your expertise and passion for the subject.
- Foster positive relationships with students, leveraging emotional regulation and de-escalation strategies to create a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless integration of SEN, MLD, and SEMH support.
- Design engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
