Hertfordshire Catering Limited (HCL) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Catering Assistant to work in one of our esteemed primary schools. This role is ideal for those seeking a great work-life balance, as it is term time only and involves working Monday to Friday.

As a key member of our kitchen team, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and work with a highly motivated team at Knebworth School. We are proactive in providing training and support to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook basic meals for students and staff
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to students and staff
- Assist with food service operations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service

What We're Looking For:
- Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to timekeeping
