Job Title: Insurance Governance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Governance Specialist to join our team at Howden Group Holdings. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to our Consumer Duty & Product Governance efforts and support regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in insurance governance, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for assisting the Consumer Duty & Product Governance team in engaging with Specialty's four Pillar divisions, developing and reviewing frameworks and tools, and tracking and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Consumer Duty & Product Governance team in engaging with Specialty's four Pillar divisions.
  • Develop and review frameworks and tools, including Distribution Impact Assessments, Fair Value Assessments, product approvals, and monitoring reports.
  • Track and report activities to provide a unified view of Consumer Duty & Product Governance.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to support regulatory execution.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of FCA requirements in relation to Consumer Duty, Product Governance, and Vulnerability.
  • Experience of using and navigating the FCA handbook.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and project management skills.
  • Good planning, organization, analytical, problem-solving, delivery, and time management skills.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint a must; experience of Power BI would be helpful but not vital.

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
