Executry Paralegal Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our client, a leading Legal firm in Aberdeenshire, to support their Private Client team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend client meetings and take detailed instructions.
  • Register wills and conduct thorough investigations into estate assets.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and third parties to gather financial information and documentation.
  • Prepare comprehensive registers of assets and debts, as well as inheritance tax forms.
  • Prepare inventory for confirmation and apply to the court for confirmation.
  • Assist with legal rights computations, prepare fee notes, and manage administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Executry or Private Client Paralegal.
  • Strong understanding of estate administration processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of inheritance tax forms and legal rights computations.
