Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the year-end consolidation and annual reports for the PLC and subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Prepare and review monthly statutory accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow, to ensure timely and accurate submission.
  3. Collaborate with auditors, external accountants, and tax advisors across multiple countries to ensure seamless financial reporting and compliance.
  4. Supervise the preparation of IFRS 16 lease accounts and provide technical support to the transactional and management accounting team.
  5. Develop and write technical papers on IFRS 15 and capitalisation of employee costs to projects, demonstrating expertise and thought leadership.

Requirements:

  1. ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant with a strong background in multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation.
  2. Proficient/advanced Excel skills and experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  3. Previous experience in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous, but not essential.
  4. High energy, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. This is a mainly onsite position, with occasional travel to other locations.
