Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Digital Facilitator to support the implementation and deployment of digital medicines systems across the health board. As a core member of a small digital pharmacy team, you will facilitate the use of key medicines-related digital systems, including the Hospital Electronic Prescribing & Medicines Administration (HEPMA) system, CD Manager, and pharmacy robotics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support users in accessing and using digital systems
  • Respond to issues raised and ensure routine monitoring of systems is complete
  • Occasional out-of-hours working to support system upgrades

Requirements

  • Experience in supporting IT systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior knowledge of pharmacy processes and medicines governance an advantage
