We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of management accounts
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support the accounts payable and receivable functions
- Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Perform general administrative tasks as required by the finance team
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAGE, Xero) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards
