Job Title: Accountancy and Payroll Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in Liverpool. As an outsourced payroll bureau team member, you will be allocated various client sites and be responsible for the full range of payroll duties for each of these.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage multiple client payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  2. Maintain accurate records for all employees and clients.
  3. Produce payslips and payroll analyses.
  4. Generate NI and Inland Revenue reports.
  5. Run month-end and year-end procedures.
  6. Monitor client-specific requirements and build relationships with clients.
  7. Provide cover for colleagues in their absence and assist in training other team members.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Payroll Officer with knowledge of Auto Enrolment.
  2. Experience of working within a payroll bureau environment.
  3. Fully up-to-date with all Payroll rules and regulations.
  4. Ability to manually calculate tax and NI.
  5. Adaptable to different payroll software, with BrightPay payroll experience desirable.
  6. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  7. Experience with creating, importing, and uploading CSV files.
  8. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
