Carpentry Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Lecturer to join our esteemed Construction team at Dovetail and Slate. As a Carpentry Lecturer, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures to mature students, covering Carpentry Theory and Practical as well as lower-level general construction.
  • Supervise student work, providing constructive feedback and support on assignments.
  • Carry out marking and assessments, ensuring students meet the required standards.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 / Advanced Craft in Carpentry or a related qualification of an equivalent level.
  • Teaching qualifications are desirable, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
