Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forensic Specialist to join our team at the World Bank Group. As a Digital Forensic Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and operating our digital forensic lab, conducting forensic examinations of digital evidence, and providing training to our investigative staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and operate our digital forensic lab, including maintaining software and hardware tools, and implementing a lab inventory system.
  • Conduct forensic examinations of digital evidence, including identifying and collecting electronic evidence, analyzing data for relevance to investigations, and preparing reports documenting the digital examination process and findings.
  • Provide training to our investigative staff on the use of digital forensics, including the latest forensic tools and methodologies.
  • Liaise with our Office of Information Security to identify and obtain digital evidence, and maintain digital evidence storage and archives in accordance with our retention policy.
Requirements
  • Relevant academic background and/or demonstrated professional experience in digital forensics.
  • Relevant educational/technical certifications, such as CFCE, GCFA, GCFE, or EnCE.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in digital forensics within an investigative context.
  • Familiarity with AI systems, such as Chat GPT and other Generative AI tools.
  • Creative and critical thinker, highly adaptable to changing technologies in the AI space.
  • Experience with researching and fielding new and innovative technology.
  • Prior experience developing protocols and procedures for digital forensic support to investigations.
  • Prior experience developing and delivering training to expert and non-expert audiences.
