Equipment Technician Lead

beBee Professionals in Staines is looking for an experienced Equipment Technician Lead to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and ensuring that all machinery functions efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering and previous experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment. You will be required to perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and malfunctions, and ensure all machinery complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Safety and Quality: Ensure all machinery and equipment comply with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
