Customer Service / Sales Order Processor

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the UK, is seeking an experienced Customer Service / Sales Order Processor to join their team. As a key member of the business, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a high volume of inbound customer service-related calls, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Enter sales orders accurately and promptly onto the in-house system, ensuring data accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Upsell and cross-sell to customers when taking orders, driving revenue growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise daily with the manufacturing and shipping teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Make outbound calls to existing customers to inform them of special offers and promotions.
  • Manage outbound delivery dates for customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Update delivery note details accurately and maintain spreadsheets containing customer and order information.
Requirements:
  • Excellent telephone manner and experience of dealing with a high volume of inbound calls.
  • Strong administration skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Customer-focused approach, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Excel and Word.
