About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Vent Engineering. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out routine reactive and planned maintenance of our life safety smoke control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Test, repair, and inspect natural and mechanical smoke ventilation systems
  2. Document tasks and other relevant information in a detailed service report
  3. Liaise with clients to resolve defects and advise solutions to prevent reoccurrence
  4. Liaise with the maintenance department to identify sales opportunities
About You

We are looking for individuals who are organised, methodical, have exceptional problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, flexibility, effective reporting skills, and a high attention to detail.

Required Experience and Qualifications
  1. Fault finding experience
  2. Knowledge of electrical circuits within control panels
  3. Working at height experience
  4. Full driving license (max 6 points)
  5. 18th Edition Electrical qualification or equivalent
  6. Level 3 (or equivalent) electrical qualification
  7. Site experience, ideally with an ECS or CSCS Card
