About the Role
Place2Be is seeking a qualified Counsellor to provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people in our partner schools. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children, offering one-to-one counselling sessions.
About You
You will be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or studying towards one of these professions. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of children and young people.
What We Offer
As a Counsellor on Placement with Place2Be, you will receive a high level of support through regular supervision, tailored training workshops, and a well-recognised clinical placement. You will also have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year, which are recognised as continuing professional development time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people in our partner schools
- Work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children, offering one-to-one counselling sessions
- Attend regular supervision and training workshops
- Participate in up to six optional workshops throughout the year
