About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at aPriori Technologies. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of our software products, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and development of new software products and features, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Engineers, and Stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead design sessions and ensure that your team delivers high-quality work that aligns with the mission of our applications and platform.
  • Mentor and train software engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills to grow and be successful in their roles.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software products and features.
  • Expertise in modern client-side JavaScript frameworks, such as Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Redux.
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
  • Knowledge of front-end tooling like Lerna and Yarn, with a good understanding of current best practices and async, reactive programming patterns.
  • Good understanding of data structures, web performance optimizations, and limitations.
  • Experience with automated comprehensive test suites at all levels of the architecture.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture, including event sourcing, CQRS, and pub/sub patterns, to enhance system scalability, responsiveness, and maintainability.
  • Experience with Java or Python is a plus.
  • Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases like MongoDB, DocumentDB, or DynamoDB is a plus.
