Job Description

We are seeking an Electronics Systems Developer to join our product development team and management team to support the development of our next generation of Fluid System Electronic Controllers.

This key role involves working collaboratively with our mechanical engineering team to provide innovative, effective, and fit-for-purpose solutions to our global customer base. As a specialist in electronic systems, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic controllers that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering, firmware engineering, or industrial engineering, with experience in embedded C programming. They will also have a track record of successful delivery of medium to large projects and be able to balance short-term focus on results with longer-term interests.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electronic controllers using advanced technologies such as microcontrollers and software-defined radio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including those related to safety, security, and environmental sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Firmware Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded C programming and proficiency in software development tools.
  • Experience with version control systems, Agile development methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
