Job Summary
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our stores, working closely with the Store Manager to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain high standards of store appearance and performance. You will be responsible for leading a team of sales assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of sales assistants to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and action plans
- Monitor and oversee store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store appearance
- Provide coaching and training to sales assistants to improve their performance and skills
- Contribute to the development of a positive and productive store culture
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver results
