Vickerstock is partnering with a logistics firm to find a QHSE Compliance Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering QHSE standards across the organization, including audits, site inspections, and training.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and site inspections for Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Perform regular compliance checks and update records accordingly.
  • Collect, review, and assess essential documentation from sub-contractors.
  • Coordinate and deliver employee QHSE induction programs.
  • Gather and evaluate necessary documentation from contractors, conduct contractor inductions, and maintain precise records.
  • Support QHSE and Product Safety awareness initiatives for staff through various campaigns.
  • Participate in the investigation and reporting of accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Compile data and complete all QHSE administrative tasks, ensuring records are up to date.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating current QHSE policies, procedures, regulations, and legislation.
  • Collaborate with line managers to enhance their safety responsibilities for their teams.
  • Drive initiatives to continually improve the ISO Management Systems.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • NEBOSH Certification.
  • ISO Internal Auditor or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with, maintaining, and implementing ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Knowledge of relevant QHSE regulations and standards.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrable communication skills.
Desirable
  • Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) preferred.
  • Understanding of BRC Global Standards.
  • Experience in QHSE management systems and procedures.
  • Experience in ISO 28000.
